Download PDF ↓Choose the first company computer that will run FleetSlate Office. FleetSlate supports Windows and macOS; the complete 30-day trial and Lifetime can connect up to 10 Office computers simultaneously to the same fully synchronised company workspace.
Have an internet connection available for the first setup, plus the phones or tablets that will run FleetSlate Driver. You should also know the company name and the person who will be the first administrator.
Download the Windows package from the 30-day trial page or from the protected delivery portal after purchase. Run the installer or setup package and follow the on-screen steps.
Open FleetSlate Office, create the company workspace, set the administrator PIN and allow the local service to start. The Office app becomes the main place for planning, records, dashboards, tracking and mobile pairing.
Download the macOS package from the trial page or delivery portal. Copy the FleetSlate application to Applications if instructed in the included notes.
If macOS warns that the app is from an unidentified developer, use the included instructions to open it from System Settings / Privacy & Security. After the first start, create the company workspace and administrator PIN as normal.
Inside FleetSlate Office, add the first driver, vehicle and trailer. This prepares the workspace for checks, schedules, Daily Journeys, documents and timesheets.
You can then review the dashboard, Drivers, Vehicles, Trailers, Planner, Documents, Tracking and Alerts sections before pairing the first phone.
In FleetSlate Office, open Driver mobile app and generate the Android installation link for the selected driver. Send the link or open it directly on the phone or tablet.
Install the Android package, open FleetSlate Driver and follow the pairing prompt. The app runs full-screen like a normal app after installation.
In FleetSlate Office, open Driver mobile app and generate the iPhone / iPad installation link. Open the link in Safari on the selected device.
Download the configuration profile if prompted, then open Settings, choose Profile Downloaded and tap Install. The Driver icon is added to the Home Screen and opens full-screen without Safari browser controls.
FleetSlate Office creates a one-time QR code or short pairing code for a specific driver. The driver scans or enters it, confirms the company and driver, and the device receives the correct tenant, driver and device identity automatically.
No email address, password, company hostname, server address or tunnel token is required on the driver device. Once the device is paired, FleetSlate remembers that authorised phone and opens the Driver Home screen automatically on later launches unless Office revokes the device or its app data is removed.
Open the driver workspace and verify that assignments, checks, documents, timesheets and history load correctly. Create a sample vehicle or trailer check and confirm that the office receives it.
If Daily Journeys is enabled, verify the visible location-sharing indicator in Driver and confirm that Office receives positions and route history as expected.
Temporarily disconnect the driver device or the company internet connection, create a supported record and then reconnect. FleetSlate should retry and deliver the saved work automatically when the connection returns.
Check that the latest-use backup is present and confirm where the workspace can be restored from if the company computer ever needs recovery.
The 30-day trial requires no card. If the buyer chooses Lifetime, the website checkout completes one secure GBP payment.
After successful payment, FleetSlate automatically sends the purchase email with the receipt, protected installer portal link, activation key and signed licence file. Enter the activation key in FleetSlate Office to keep the same workspace active beyond the trial.
FleetSlate uses tenant-isolated Cloud Sync, protected pairing and signed licences. Drivers are limited to their own assigned workspace, and the office controls which devices remain authorised.
Do not share private installer links, activation keys or administrative access with unauthorised users. If a phone is lost or replaced, revoke the old device inside FleetSlate Office and issue a new pairing link.
