Privacy notice

A practical summary of how FleetSlate handles website requests, connected Driver data and location history.

Information you provide

When you send a setup request or customer message, we receive the company name, contact name, email address and the information you choose to enter.

  • Business and contact details
  • Trial or Lifetime selection
  • Order or payment reference when supplied
  • Message and technical details you choose to provide

Why we use it

We use this information to respond, prepare private delivery, activate a licence, provide support and protect the service from misuse.

  • Reply to enquiries
  • Prepare protected downloads and licences
  • Support installation, synchronisation and recovery
  • Maintain a basic service and audit record

Storage and service providers

Website requests may be stored in the configured Cloudflare database. Private release files may be held in protected object storage. Email notifications are sent through the configured transactional email provider.

  • Access is restricted to authorised administration
  • Download links are time-limited and revocable
  • Secrets and signing credentials are not stored in public source

FleetSlate Relay and tenant isolation

Relay authenticates one licensed Office installation and its paired Driver devices. Every request is bound to a tenant identity and one assigned driver; one tenant cannot address another tenant’s Office connection, devices, pairings or queued events.

Fleet records, documents and photographs remain in the customer’s local FleetSlate storage unless requested through an authorised Driver workflow.

Daily Journeys and location

Office stores the latest position and Daily Journey GPS points for up to 30 days, then removes route history automatically. Driver shows a visible sharing indicator.

If Office is temporarily unavailable, Driver keeps a local outbox and Relay may hold undelivered points for up to 48 hours, removing each event after delivery.

  • Pairing codes expire and work once
  • Driver access can be revoked from Office
  • Location sharing remains visible in Driver
  • Mobile systems may pause location when the app is closed or suspended

Your choices

You may ask for a copy, correction or deletion of information connected with a website enquiry, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements. Use the FleetSlate contact form and identify the relevant request reference.
