FLEETSLATE 3.14.1 — INSTALLATION AND FIRST CONNECTION

WINDOWS
1. Run FleetSlate-Setup-3.14.1.exe, or the UNSIGNED test build.
2. Confirm installation. FleetSlate Office opens and starts automatically when the Windows user signs in.
3. Enter the paid-plan activation key. Office connects to FleetSlate Relay automatically.

MACOS
1. Extract FleetSlate-Mac-3.14.1-UNSIGNED.zip.
2. Run INSTALL-FLEETSLATE-MAC.command. An unsigned test build may require right-click → Open. The commercial release should be Apple Developer ID signed and notarised.
3. FleetSlate detects Apple Silicon or Intel, downloads the official Node.js runtime and verifies its SHA-256 on first launch.

PAIR A DRIVER PHONE
1. Add the driver in Office.
2. Open Driver app, select the driver and choose Connect phone.
3. Scan the QR code or enter the displayed code.
4. The phone is securely linked to that driver. No company hostname, server address, tunnel name, connector token or PIN is entered.
5. Install from the browser prompt on Android, or Safari → Share → Add to Home Screen on iPhone/iPad.

Office must be online and running for full live synchronisation. Supported offline work remains queued and reconnects automatically. If Office is temporarily unavailable, the Relay can hold undelivered position updates in order for up to 48 hours and removes them after successful delivery. Office still retains only the driver’s latest position.

A PWA cannot guarantee location updates after Android or iOS closes or suspends it. Continuous background tracking requires a native Driver application.
